International Experience:
Participated in the European Youth Parliament in Durham, England in 2004.
Represented
my school and country for 10 days, working in a group with other students comming from different European countries. Each
group had a task of solving one economic or political problem our world is faced with. My group was about globalization and
I made a speech for my group in the Newcastle parliament in front of more than 300 audience.
Participated in the
Fulbright Commission in Vermont, USA in 2000.
Represented my country with other fellow Greek Cypriots. We were living
and working together with other fellow Turkih Cypriots for 2 weeks. It is a very important thing since in 1974 Cyprus was
invaded by Turkey and this made the relations between the two countries very bad. The aim of the whole thing was
to see how well we can communicate, work and live with Turkih Cypriot people.
